Federal student loan Disclosure verification of debt Not given enough info to verify debt Virginia
In - of - I began receiving phone calls from Pioneer Credit in regards to student loan debt. I have not received written communication from them, although they claim to have sent it. In an effort to stop a possible wage garnishment I agreed to make - good faith payments of $100.00. Those were done in -, - and -. Since that time I have not had any communication with the company other then phone calls. Nothing written at all. On - -, - I was informed by my payroll dept that Pioneer had submitted an order to garnish my wages. I have had no written communication from them at all. In my investigation I have found that they are not listed as servicers on my loans. I am unsure of who they are and until I get more information I do not want them to have the ability to take money from me. If the loans are mine I want to take care of them. I ca n't do that without verification and more information from them.
