I applied for forebarence on my Navient loan which was approved. They continued to call and harrass me for payment anywhere from 6-10 calls per month. I finally spoke to a person in -/-/- and they told me the loan was n't in forebarence even though I had a letter stating it was. I negotiated with the collections rep to make a double payment by the - of the month every month until the loan was brought current. I made that first double payment -/-/- on the phone. I sent the second double payment -/-/- via mail which they received on -/-/-. My next double payment should n't be due until -/-/-. This morning ( -/-/- ) I received a phone call saying my payments are late and need to be brought current. No record of course with me negotiating the double payment back on -/-/-. I am doing what I said I would do and the phone calls and harrassment does n't seem to stop.
