During the 2015 - holiday I closed my savings and checking account at Bank Santander located on - - - -, in -, Pa., phone number, ( - ). Branch number -. I received an official Bank Check for $23000.00. - and mailed it on - -, 2015 to my - - Bank account and put on the back of the check for deposit only in my account and listed my account number. The check was never received by - - and is lost. I call Bank Santander and requested a stop payment on - -, 2015 Banks - said the wo n't stop payment for 90 days. The bank officials say if I want a stop payment sooner I have to agree that they are not responsible for the money. They want me to obtain a surety bond too. I 've call 3 times and the bank refused to put a stop payment sooner than the 90 days. I asked the bank on what date will they put a stop payment on the check and I was told by - - who works at the bank that she did n't know, that she would have to get back to me with that information.
