I contacted Midland Funding and spoke with - - in the debt verification department regarding an account that should no longer be reported on my credit file. My original debt was with - - which is now - -. My first date of delinquency was - 2008. This date was confirmed with the original creditor AND - - also confirmed that the date of the last payment was - 2008, however, - - stated that that information does not state that that was the FIRST date of delinquency. This statement by - - makes no sense being that the original creditor already confirmed this. This account was paid and I am not disputing that is was mine. I am complaining because it is over 7 years and should have been removed at least 4 months ago.
