I have paid extra money on principle balance of home loan, the current LTV shows 78 % and the bank is not removing the PMI from my mortgage payment, they are stating that I must send in a written request, I explained that at 78 % LTV the law requires them to automatically terminate the PMI, they told me no I must send in written request.
