I submitted a request to American Education Services to apply a natural disaster forbearance in order to prevent my loan from defaulting. I gave all the information requested and every time, I received a letter stating they needed the same information they requested. Every time I called in and gave them the information and every time they restarted the request, stating that it was a computer issue. When they finally did put the forbearance through, they completely ignored the loan that I had been requesting the forbearance for and then they defaulted that loan. I had requested it specifically to avoid that happening. When I emailed them to address the issue, they completely ignored my email. It 's been a week and a half and I have received no response and the issue has not been addressed.
