Incorrect information on credit report Public record Idaho

The - placed an illegal lien against me in - - when the person holding my power of attorney had entered into negotiations with the - to make payment arrangements and to revise and resubmit my tax filings for the years in question in - -. Per an - agent in - Idaho ... .this filing was in direct violation of - rules and procedures and the lien should never have been placed. The check for payment was then processed by the - for the full amount one week later which means it was probably held up by mail volume at that time. Per my credit check in - -, the - had not released the lien which, even if it was legal, should have been satisfied more than four years ago and reflected that fact on my credit record. It is the - administrative incompetence that has caused this problem and now both Transunion and - are refusing to correct my credit report to reflect 1 ) that the lien never should have been placed and 2 ) that it was satisfied in - - anyway. I submitted documents given to me by the - agent in - and


would rather play nice with the - rather than do the right thing, my credit score is about - pts lower than it should be. I would like - these companies ordered to remove any record of that tax lien from my credit record as - has done. All - companies received the same information and the same letter from me explaining that the - up but only - understood the issue. If they still refuse to remove any reference to the lien, I will be forced to take legal action against them in federal court for deliberate wrongful reporting of a credit record, which is fraud.
