Citibank Prepaid Card Complaint

Citibank Prepaid card department,

Gift or merchant card Unauthorized transactions/trans. issues Pennsylvania

Through my employer I won a $100.00 gift card and I was allowed to select the card ( SEARS ) that I wanted. My intent was to use the proceeds to make a payment on my Sears Card. There were no disclosures or limitations on used listed at my time of purchase. When I received the card later that day electronically, there was a list of limitation applied. I would not have selected their card had I known what I know now. I went to the my local Sears store and the manager advised me I can only use for purchases. I believe this is a deceptive practice and that it should be investigated.
