Conventional fixed mortgage Credit decision / Underwriting District of Columbia
I bought a house and got Everbank to to service the loan. I was supposed receive a credit ( loan origination fee, etc., were supposed to be waived ) for choosing Everbank. This is shown on the original HUD- that was sent to me by the Everbank loan officer two days prior to closing. When I reviewed the HUD- at the actual closing, the numbers were different. They had taken all the credit OFF of the new HUD- form. The loan officer, who was present at the settlement, called his bank, and they were supposed to refund the money ASAP. This was in presence of the loan officer, title attorney, seller, buyer ( myself ), and their agents. Is has almost been a month since this closing date and I have not received the check. I have had to call multiple customer service. They have been less than responsive and totally put it on ME to work to get this refund which was promised to me ( really ridiculous given that this check was supposed to be mailed out the day after closing ).
