Today I received a call from a company in Ohio that processes payments for a company that sells drones. The man who called said he wanted to verify I had authorized $3000.00 in purchases for drones to my credit card issued by Barclays Bank Delaware. I had not. When I logged onto my Barclay card account to see if the charges were there, I saw - temporary charges for $1500.00 each to -. I immediately attempted to contact Barclays. After being on hold for more than 5 minutes, a representative finally comes on the line and says quickly We are currently updating our system. Please call back in 24-36 hours '' and then HANGS UP! I thought there must have been a mistake so I called back. THREE MORE TIMES. The same thing happens every time. So now, not only is my identity compromised and my credit card being used fraudulently, but I ca n't even talk with someone at the credit card company to find out why they did n't put a stop to the charge ( On - -, 2015 they refused to allow me to charge $130.00 - until I spoke with their fraud department ) as suspicious and what I 'm supposed to do about it.
