I stupidly agreed to pay the amount of $170.00 a month for 6 months with Portfolio and once had to make payment 3 days after due date. When I called, I was told that my agreement was now null and void and had to pay FULL amount throughout -. I asked for Debt verification letter and company still tried to charge me the $170.00 which caused my bank account to overdraft. I called company and was told to speak to the legal department, which I did. The woman told me to email her supervisor with proof of overdraft and they would reimburse me. I did - times and still have yet to hear anything or receive and reimbursement. I have not received debt verification letter either. I believe this company is committing fraud and until proven otherwise will continue to fight for my hard earned money. I am a victim of identity theft due to being a federal employee so I have no idea what these hackers had access to.
