Synchrony Bank Credit card department,
I have cancelled - credit cards since -/-/-, after I was accused of providing late payment via mail on credit card bills. - card was a JC Penney credit card, a - card was a BP Visa Card, and a - was a - - - card. In all - cases, the bank/sender of the credit card statements claimed that they received payment/check from me through the mail just after the payment due date. '' I have had credit cards for over 30 years, and have never had to make a late payment fee for any cards prior to this past year. This recent problem with late payments on credit cards bills has not occurred with any other credit cards. - of the cards are those issued by Synchrony Bank, and the - was issued by -. -/-/- - JC Penney card, $17.00 late fee charged- - - BP Visa card, $25.00 late fee charged- - - - - - card, $25.00 late fee chargedIn each case, I mailed my payment check 3 weeks ahead of the due date, and yet, the credit card company/bank said the payment arrived late. I find this suspicious, and wonder if it has anything to do with my never having paid late fees in my history of using credit cards. Is it possible this is a scam to make at least some money off of me, since credit card annual fees do n't exist on the cards? I had at least - credit card company say directly to me many years ago that they could n't make money off of someone like me, after i asked to cancel my account with them since i did n't want to pay the annual fee on the card.
