Credit card False statements or representation Impersonated an attorney or official Arizona
I was recently contacted by American Express and told that I needed to pay a debt immediately, even though I am in credit counseling and I am depositing funds into an escrow account to be deposit for a debt settlement. I was threatened with a lawsuit, even though they acknowledged that I am taking steps to settle my debt with them out of court. I was not contacted by an attorney. I am paying money to settle my debt with American Express right now and I want to be left alone by them.
