Credit card Taking/threatening an illegal action Threatened to sue on too old debt Pennsylvania
I am being sued in a local district justice court by Midland funding on credit card debt that is way past the statute of limitations to collect and they are in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. They have already filed a lawsuit against me. There are - different credit card accounts they are suing me for. - had NO payments made on it at all since -. Therefore this debt is over - years old and is not enforceable to collect in the state of Pennsylvania. The - credit card has not been payed on since - which makes this over - years old and again in violation and is not enforceable to collect. The third credit card has not seen a payment since -. This information came directly from the Midland Funding website with my accounts listed so this information is accurate and correct. They are in violation of - of these - credit card accounts. I want the lawsuit dropped immediately and all fees and costs associated to be dropped or I will contact an attorney and I will let him pursue legal action against Midland Funding for violating the statute law in Pennsylvania.
