I have been dealing with Kay Jewelers recently over constant lies to me and misinformation. When i signed up for 12 months interest free financing i new it was on that particular item, 4 months later i bought another item not included in the 12 months free program and i asked will that mess up my interest free financed item they said no, well it did because at the end of the 12 months my balance was way higher than should be and i was charged back fees. their excuse was i was late multiple times which there lays another problem, anytime i missed or was late i called and paid it asap and asked each time was there a late fee and i was told no. they then said they can refund part of my account, $160.00 dollars than after it posted they recharged it. i have called them numerous times. they will not help, they say they will look into and call back and i have been waiting on the calls, some of their tactics should fall under predatory lending since they told me i didnt owe any late charges when they knew i did and they knew that would cause me to not be at a zero balance at the 12 months as well.
