PNC Bank Bank account or service department,
Checking account Deposits and withdrawals New Jersey
On or about -/-/15 PNC Bank charged our account an overdraft fee when there was ample money available to cover the check in question. I was told that a debit transaction '' was on hold '' and that was the reason for this particular charge. I would think that a debit transaction '' would post quicker than a check payment and automatically withdrawn from the available funds. Eventually that is not the case with this bank. This action plus the fact that PNC Bank continued to add additional fees basically making it impossible to get caught up. They would continue to redeposit checks over and over and now they are claiming our account is negative - $430.00. We received a letter from them dated -/-/15 stating that we are going to be reported to -. The fees they are seeking are due to there handling ( holding debits ) against the account causing checks to bounce is intentional and a way for the Bank to take a persons hard earned money.
