This company takes a variety of tactics to reclaim a debt. I first discovered an attempt to collect this debt after I was sued by this company. I did not show up to court, and they received a default judgement against me. The debtors then seized my assets which I proved were protected under the law and attempts to collect we 're closed by the court. After I had stopped them from taking my funds. For the last year, they have used a number of tactics to get this debt including contacting a 3rd party about my debt, reporting to the collection agencies when I disputed the account, and they reported the judgement entered to the credit agencies after I asked them to remove the debt. I had asked them to verify the debt after receiving the judgement, including my signature, but they never produced these documents. Instead they sent me old statements, which I know does not qualify as adequate verification of debt in the state of Illinois. They still are claiming that they have provided me with verification. I contacted the original creditor to see if I can dispute the debt with them directly, as this company is extremely difficult to deal with.
