Freedom Mortgage Mortgage department,
Conventional fixed mortgage Credit decision / Underwriting Alaska
Freedom Mortgage originally said that they would give a $2900.00 credit to lure me in. On - -, they then gave me a good faith estimate ( GFE ) for $1700.00 in credits with no origination fees and then another worksheet that said I would be getting an additional $1200.00. They said that they could not put the total credits on the GFE, but would give me the $2900.00 credit. I did sign this GFE. Then, on - -, they gave me a new GFE for a credit of only $880.00. I do not know why they can not put the total credits on the GFE like other mortgage companies. This seems kind of sketchy.
