February 23, 2016 - My credit card stopped working so I contacted the bank and was told I was over my limit. I pay my balance every month and only use the card for small charges like gas once a week. My identity was compromised and over - charges were made in - 2015. The CS rep took the information and I paid the charges I was responsible to pay. I mailed a letter denying the fraudulent charges and made a police report. Several attempts have been made to talk to the bank since discovering the fraudulent charges. February 6, 2016 - A credit card was issued to me by First Bankcard for - an online retail chain. Just three days after receiving the card, it was closed by First Bankcard. The card was never allowed charges because the company called me and said it needed to check for fraud and go into my local bank and show all my ID 's documents. A red flag came up because that was not the agreement of the card being issued in the first place.
