Commerce Bank Credit card balance transfer fee March 25, 2015 - I applied for a new credit card so I could take advantage of a zero percent interest rate on a balance transfer. With my application I requested a $7000.00 balance transfer to pay off another card. I was only approved for $4000.00 and Commerce Bank automatically did a balance transfer for $3800.00. They added a balance transfer fee which put me over my new credit limit immediately. I did n't ask for the - amount at any time. I am concerned about negative credit reporting and additional fees and even the lose of my new zero percent interest rate. I feel this is against the Fair Debt Co... |
