She left a creditcard with Banco Popular of Puerto in her name with a high balance. The credit card division has filed a lawsuit demanding payment. My Attorney - - - has approached the credit card division of the bank and negotiated an agreement to pay off the outstanding balance from $38000.00 to $24000.00. My surving father has two CD 's which add up to more than $100000.00. My Attorney suggested to the bank that one of the Cd 's be cash and the monies be applied towards the outstanding balance.
