Guaranteed Rate Mortgage settlement process and costs May 13, 2016 - The company did not follow state/federal guidelines regarding providing final numbers for closing. We did not receive the final numbers until 15 minutes before we closed, versus the legal guidelines to provide us those numbers 72hours before. Additionally the numbers that were provided to us 15 minutes before closing, were over $3500.00 more than what we had discussed the previous day. Not able to close on-time - Guaranteed Rate had more than 2 months for processing the loan application, There was not a single document delay on my end.
