Consumer Portfolio Services Consumer Loan shopping for a loan or lease March 12, 2016 - I have submitted this complaint earlier this year, but the issue was not solved. I have applied for a car loan and was approved by a lender ; C.P.S ( Consumer Portfolio Services ) .Do to issues associated with the dealer the deal did not go through, now C.P.S is refusing to lend to me when I already have been approved by them twice. Also they have financed people with a similar credit record and score as I do, but they will not approve me, when I have proof of income and capability to pay the loan. Once I saw the true price and the APR I wanted to return the vehicle, because I was sham into a deal, after asking for significant information, that was not given before I considered the deal to be final.
