Alaska Commission on Post Secondary Education Student loan can't repay my loan can't get flexible payment options May 26, 2016 - Currently have an Administrative Wage Garnishment in effect that is 25 % of my biweekly pay. This went into effect without knowledge of a summons. Contacted Alaska Commission on Post Secondary Education ( ACPE ) about the issue, and was told that they were able to proceed even without my presence or knowledge. Attempted to negotiate a payment plan, but was declined. ACPE told me the only way the garnishment would be lifted is if paid in full. Their other alternative was filing for a reduction from 25 % to 15 %. Filed the proper paper work and was denied even that. I am in a place where I can p... |
