Debt collection cont'd attempts collect debt not owed debt was paid May 12, 2015 - I need some help, I have had insurance my whole life, a collection agency has been calling named Alliance Collection. I advised this agency - months ago if my insurance was ran they would have paid it. I took it upon my self after this agency reported this to my credit to call my insurance company finding out this was never submitted for payment at the doctors office which everyone was advised I had insurance and provided the card and proof. These charges were incurred by her after our divorce was final. - - - has not made any attempt to contact me or collect from me regarding her account. - - - has put her account in collections with Alliance Debt Collectors. She still wo n't pay so Alliance has sent letters to me saying I owe this debt and they have reported it to the credit reporting agencies that I am a co-signor on her account and it is in collections.
