Oportun Financial Corporation Consumer Loan problems when you are unable to pay October 13, 2016 - Progreso Financiero now known as Oportun has been harassing me to pay by calling not only my references but also my employer. I receive calls about 10-15 times per day and rarely do they leave a message. The only time they do leave messages is if they were able to speak with someone. They leave messages saying that it is an extreme emergency that they get a hold of me to discuss business matters regarding my account. This company has very poor customer service.
