UBS Bank Bank account or service account opening, closing, or management April 8, 2015 - I and my sister are beneficiaries of an IRA owned by my father who passed away. I have submitted the proper paperwork to UBS Financial and they acknowledge receipt. They are witholding the funds because they state that they will not make distribution until they have all of the paperwork from the other beneficiary. I do not believe that there is a legal basis for witholding the money due me but they have been giving me the runaround.
