Debt collection communication tactics threatened to take legal action June 23, 2016 - I asked - - - company to cancel my subscription, that I did not realize I had gotten into. I was being charged $49.00 for magazines. I would not agree to this price. Company stated that I could not cancel and that they would not send me a hand copy of the bill so I could make payments without my credit card being charged. Representative stated that I could not cancel my account and the only thing they would do is send me to collections.
