They assert my service was disconnected and that this is a past due balance. I am a current - customer and have been for 7 consecutive years. - claims this balance is due from an older account number which was cancelled due to a change in service. At this time I requstested that I final bill be sent to me via U.S. Mail instead of via email. The representative advised me that I would recieve a bill after the end of the current billing cycle which ended on -/-/15. On -/-/15 I recieved a notice from a collection agency. We no longer receive the magazine. Lately a company named North Shore Agency, which identifies itself as a collection agency, has send numerous threatening letters giving us the " opportunity to reinstate our subscription in the amount of $17.00 before further collection activity becomes necessary. '' I researched this company on the internet and there are - complaints about people receiving such threatening letters related to magazine subscriptions people never had or did not renew.
