Debt collection communication tactics frequent or repeated calls March 31, 2017 - I had 18 missed phone calls from Thunder Bird Collections within like fifteen minutes. - would call and go to till voice mail and then immediately called back. He also called my grandfather and utilized the same tactics. This was also done after I had told him not to ever contact anyone besides my cell phone number that I provided. Debt collection communication tactics frequent or repeated calls August 15, 2016 - I person by the name of - called me in regards to a medical debt I was unaware I owed, I explained I was in middle of work and could n't speak to him at the moment, he proceed to call my cell a total of 5 times within a 3 hour span. I called him back and asked to be sent an invoice because how did I know if it was n't a scam, and I would n't give my credit card information over the phone.
