After a leak in my home created considerable damage, I started receiving checks from - to pay repairers. Checks were sent to LoanCare to endorse. When the amount reached $20000.00, LoanCare put numerous obstacles in our path - a variety of paperwork from numerous people, checks that had to be returned because they were made out to the wrong person etc. The final straw was a check made out to me and - subcontractor ( I had to pay - different contractors ). Dealing with them has been a nightmare in general. Reaching them on the phone is difficult at best. I can almost never get in touch with a human being ; their automated phone system has perfected the art (? ) of the runaround. Back in 2009, I was told that I was $13000.00 in arrears ( no foreclosure proceedings had been instituted ). Everything was fine until about -/-/- when I started receiving late notices. I did some research and found that LoanCare had applied my -/-/- payment towards -/-/-. So instead of recording - separate months payments as they should have they showed - payment for -. I called and got it resolved without issue.
