FirstMerit Bank Mortgage application, originator, mortgage broker July 10, 2015 - I have been getting a run around from first merit about getting assistance with down payment assistance .... They are not utilizing all the grants that are available for first time home buyers.. They promised down payment assistance and told me to apply for it myself. ..
