I called the bank and was told that I would get that money back because they could n't accept a payment when it was foreclosed on. He informed us that the appraisal was inaccurate and that he 'd notified the bank. The bank was however trying to fool us into believing the appriasal was accurate. - - said he would refund the money we paid the bank for the appraisal. To do that they found land - miles away selling for $ -/acre and ignored land pricing anywhere closer much less inside the resort community.
