I researched the charge and learned that the charge has been reported by a lot of people as suspicious and fraud. NetSpend Corporation, a TSYS Company Prepaid card managing, opening, or closing account November 15, 2016 - Netspend sent me an unsolicited prepaid debit card. Advising that everyone is guaranteed approval and advising of immediate access to the funds deposited to the card. I 'm a - and my school refund was deposited to the card. I tried to activate the card and was advised that they needed to verify my identity by providing my ssn, address, dl #, dob and phone # which i gave. They adv. That i did not pass verification due to the address even though i gave the address where the card was sent. However, when I went to activate the card online, I was informed there was a problem with my account and directed to call customer svc. The woman on the phone told me that I was not eligible for an account with them and when I asked for a reason I was told we can not give a reason ''.
