July 18, 2015 - I am a veteran of the -. As a benefit to me for my service, I receive free healthcare. The VA was my insurance for my prenatal care and labor and delivery. My son was born -/-/- and the doctor that I chose for him made the initial doctors visit while we were still in the hospital. I received the bill from the doctor some time later and gave the doctor office the VA 's information so that they could process the claim.
