As a benefit to me for my service, I receive free healthcare. The VA was my insurance for my prenatal care and labor and delivery. My son was born -/-/- and the doctor that I chose for him made the initial doctors visit while we were still in the hospital. I received the bill from the doctor some time later and gave the doctor office the VA 's information so that they could process the claim. What I was unaware of was that the VA needed my son 's SSN in order to process the payment. I had no idea that the doctor 's bill was still deliquent until -/-/-, 16 ... |
