When i was getting voice mails I was in contact with any agency that contacted me and each time without fail It was we have no record of getting a doctors note concerning you. After a bit of searching with a few respresentatives that took the time to look deep into wherever they looked one was found. my account was put in deferment. Terms were that I would pay $50.00 per month for the next 3 months, and then resume regular monthly payments. When I called the loan company, prior to default, explained the situation, then asked for temporary hardship deferment or any other programs that would keep me out of arrears I was told my only options were to pay or default. I received notice that my deferment would be ending on -/-/-, five months prior to my graduation date. I called the servicer to extend the deferment through my graduation. AES advised they were unwilling to extend my deferment despite verifying my enrollment as a full-time student. AES advised that my grace period would cover me through graduation though.
