AES/PHEAA Student Loan Complaint

AES/PHEAA Student loan department,

Non-federal student loan Can't repay my loan Can't temporarily postpone payments Kentucky

I graduated from - college in -/-/-. I was not offered any student aid I was only - at the time was unsure of exactly what I was getting myself into. I had - private loans taken out from American education services. I graduated and could n't find a job in my field until two yrs later. I was able to finally start working as a medical - after 2 yrs of deferments. I started working at an - I was able to get my foot in the door due to knowing the - supervisor. I 've been paying on my student loans since -/-/- I was given a loan from AES for - I 've paid a total of - dollars only - has gone to the principle and - in interest. I still owe over - I 've paid - dollars a month. I recently was sent to collections in -/-/- I paid in -/-/- I was late due having my rent money stolen from me. I informed AES of what had happened and I would be able to pay them in -/-/- I was told I had 60 days to pay before it effecting my credit I was sent to collections which resulted in my credit score dropping over - points. I 've never been late paying them I feel I 'm in a never ending interest battle with AES. - college did not help me with a job after school like promised which resulted in me having to defer my loan and now I 'm struggling to pay off this loan. It 's extremely frustrating that now - do not need the schooling to become a - now I 'm stuck paying this what feels like a never ending loan for something I could have just avoided and now my credit score has dropped tremendously due to a financial hardship that I had no control over.
