July 2, 2016 - I attended - in - va from -/-/- until -/-/- when I graduated with an - in - -. During my time there I was told that all of my student loans were taken care of through federal loans or tc temporary school credit which I would pay back. When I graduated I was told my loans took care of all my debt and I did n't owe anything. Well ive been getting notices from - for the past 3 years and they all said account balance $0.00. October 7, 2015 - My PEAKS loan ( 1st Associates collects on the loan ) is in default. I have made an agreement to pay $80.00 a month but havent been able to due to other debts. Now that I have cleared smaller debts I 've attempted to keep good on my word and make my first payment. Instead of talking to someone I attempted to pay online with my debt card. That option was unavilible for me. Next I tried calling in and paying over the phone.
