Northstar Location Services, LLC Student loan dealing with my lender or servicer trouble with how payments are handled November 2, 2015 - My student loans with - - went into default. Now Northstar Location Services took over payment. I set up $250.00 a month. My husband and I just got a joint bank account a few months ago and now someone got into our account and retrieved our account numbers. As a precaution, they closed that account out and gave us a new account. I went to lunch and got back and had a missed call & voicemail on my cell phone, work phone, and they had called a department that takes incoming calls from our loan officers about our mortgage loans.
