MERCHANTS ADJUSTMENT SERVICE, INC. false statements or representation attempted to collect wrong amount June 24, 2016 - Merchants Adjustment Service, doing business for - after a terrible not-at-fault car accident, the rest of all hospital bills were covered by the at-fault drivers insurance company, -. They refused to take payment and remove this collection upon settlement. They would much rather have this listed as a collection on my credit report than have their money!!! This defies logic and I want this removed immediately.... |

It does not state the original creditor, so in actuality MAS is stating that I owe this money to them. This is bogus reporting and is causing a hit to my credit score. I do not owe this company anything and, judging from MAS ' reporting method, it has no idea whether the information is accurate or not. I asked them to stop calling, but they harassed me and said they would keep calling until I found my family members contact. They are leaving voicemail messages about the debt with private information in it, they are threatening to come after me - although I have never cosigned on anything for this person - it is getting ridiculous, I just want them to stop calling and harassing me as well as my friends and other family members. ... |
