Bank of America Credit card department,
Closing/Cancelling account New Jersey
Bank of America cleverly places the amount I overpaid as a credit balance on the card. NOT! I want a paper check in the amount of the overpayment. It was cash paid to them. I want cash paid to ME. Further I want them to close the account as CLOSED BY CONSUMER. Otherwise they will deplete the balance with an annual fee since there is NO BALANCE.
