To my surprise, on - -, -, I received a credit score alert stating that my account with Popular Community Bank was delinquent and that my payment was 90 days late. I have never made a late payment on my account with Popular Community Bank, actually, I usually pay off the balance on my account at the end of each billing statement. I have endorsed checks as proof that my payment was received by Popular Community Bank and processed by them on time. As a matter of fact, I sent 2 separate checks during the month of - for my - payment- the above account is in reference to this payment. I sent the first check in the amount $3200.00 to pay the balance in full and the second check was a $10.00 payment to avoid any additional fees. Although my first check was received on time, Popular Community Bank did not post it until weeks later and this mistake has drastically affected my credit score. I have spent more than 5 hours on the phone with Popular Community Bank trying to correct their mistake. I have been given the run around, and then told I need to speak with


payment was received, but this check was endorsed by Popular Community Bank on - -, -, ( please see attachment from bank ). This mistake has not been reversed with the credit bureau and is presently affecting my score, which I have always striven to keep impeccable. Every time I have called customer service I am spoken to in - ; although, I have continually asked to be addressed in -, the bank representatives still speak to me as if I am an ignorant immigrant. I believe if they address me in this matter, they are also taking advantage of other - customers that may not have the same understanding/education as I have. I am fluent in - and - and I 'm perfectly able to understand the difference between customer service and plain disregard for important information. It is now, - -, and despite many phone calls and emails, this is still inaccurate on my credit report which has greatly affected my credit score. I have copies of all the emails, statements, checks, and reports. I have filed a complaint with - because Popular Community Bank has failed to help me. Popular Community Bank needs to correct my credit score with -, - and - I have attempted many times and spent countless, unnecessary hours trying to correct Popular Community Bank 's mistake- and yet they have failed to reverse it and restore my original credit score.
