JPMorgan Chase & Co. Credit Card Complaint

Transaction issue

JPMorgan Chase & Co. Credit card department,

Transaction issue California

Contacted Credit Card Company ( JP Morgan Chase Visa ) to dispute a charge on -. During the dispute process I provided valid proof of the claim ; Receipts from the new plumber, receipts of the damages caused by the - plumber and video/photo evidence supporting the claim. JP Morgan contacted -/-/- and is now requesting a - from a - validating the work performed from the - plumber was inadequate and the services provided were not fulfilled. The response is due by -/-/16. Due to the holidays, this allotted time is not sufficient nor is it considered a reasonable request. This dispute was filed in -/-/- with the Credit Card company. I was explained the merchant was given 30 days to respond and dispute the reversal charge. However, the same - days was not given to me considering I received the notice on the - of -/-/- and they 're requesting a response by -/-/- not taking into consideration the Holidays and business 's closures. Nor should this request be considered necessary. The merchant 's insurance company has accepted full liability and issued a check for the damages caused by the plumber negligence. I can not comprehend the necessity to provide additional information that is outside the scope of the services that were not performed by the plumber nor should I incur additional expenses to pay for another plumbing company to write-up a - Opinion letter. An addition, why should I be responsible to pay for something that was not done correctly resulting in personal damages caused by the business 's negligence. The services were not fulfilled. I had to pay another plumber to come-out and fix the issue caused by the previous plumber. I have provided this evidence to JP Morgan Chase and their stating VISA is not accepting this documents presented as substantial documentation. This is not a logical or reasonable request and undermines the consumer protection laws meant to protect consumers from paying for services that was not fulfilled.
