Grant & Weber Debt Collection Complaint

Medical Communication tactics threatened to take legal action

Grant & Weber Debt collection department,

Medical Communication tactics Threatened to take legal action Ohio

To whom it may concern, I spoke to a rep at your office this morning ( - - ). He was unwilling to work with me on my debt even after I offered to make payments on my account. He told me if I did n't pay off the account within - days he would report it on my credit bureau. I explained my personal situation to him and he was unphased by it. it was the bottom line or nothing. In my research online I read that many collections agencies by debt for pennies on the dollar and have the ability to work with people to come to an arrangement to benefit all. This person was unwilling to do so. I have filed a complaint with the FTC and CFPB. There has to be someone out there to protect consumers from this type of bullying. I can argue all day long how the medical group handled this situation and how I even got to collections in the first place but that is neither here nor there. I do question the validity of this debt and claim. I am - positive and this is very stressful. I live day to day and try to make ends meet. Consider this my notification to your office. -
