Grant & Weber Debt collection communication tactics threatened to take legal action December 23, 2016 - To whom it may concern, I spoke to a rep at your office this morning ( - - ). He was unwilling to work with me on my debt even after I offered to make payments on my account. He told me if I did n't pay off the account within - days he would report it on my credit bureau. I explained my personal situation to him and he was unphased by it. it was the bottom line or nothing. In my research online I read that many collections agencies by debt for pennies on the dollar and have the ability to work with people to come to an arrangement to benefit all.
