- aka - SourceRM called me asking for personal information and since I was n't aware of any debt I told them I could provide personal information. I called - to verify the debt and then called the collector back. Someone answered the phone and said " did n't someone speak to you already? '' and I said yes is there a problem with that? and she said " you did n't provide personal information so we cant help you '' I told her Listen I did n't know who was calling me and she hung up on me. Not only very only very unprofessional but also since l will not be getting the verification of debt in writing within 5 days it is also illegal. Called back - the transferred me to collections dept outsourced to the - spoke to -, she told me to call SourceRM the company that was n't taking my call. Asked for a manager, she said it would take 30 mins, I said I had all day. She then told me she could transfer me because I was n't a - customer ( Oh that will get me back as a customer ) Asked for her agent ID number said it was policy not to give out personal information. ( What? ) I reiterated I wanted to speak with a manager and she hung up on me. Great
