Non-federal student loan Can't repay my loan Can't decrease my monthly payments Illinois

Short-term forebearance. Lasts around 3 months, then calls about 3-4 times a day. Unwilling to lower payment amount. School closed down. Was essentially strong-armed into taking only private loans as the financial aid advisors told me I could n't qualify for any other financial aid. Was made to renew every semester with the claim " you do n't sign it, you ca n't continue/graduate '' Did n't receive diploma until loans were paid, even after graduation. Was told I could n't get forebearance, then told I could. Non-stop calls once forebearance/deferment ends
