Conventional fixed mortgage Loan servicing, payments, escrow account Utah

I requested an escrow waiver agreement from my mortgage provider and learned there would be a $510.00 fee attached if I no longer wanted them to collect the monthly escrow fee. When I questioned - - at Aimloan ( - ) I was told this is standard procedure. Is this truly the case?
