Service 1st Mortgage - - - - ) sends deceptive advertising to its " customers '', most of whom are Veterans. As the Compliance Officer for Service First Mortgage ( - - ), I field calls from very angry customers who have been told to skip mortgage payments and now have late mortgage payments reflecting on their credit report. They leave numerous messages and never receive a call back. They are told they will close a certain day and then do not hear anything from the company until the day before. Sometimes not even then. Service 1st 's behavior is both unfair and deceptive and should be addressed by the CFPB.
