On - -, 2016 my husband went to Wells Fargo to send a wire transfer to - - in - -. Wells Fargo sent the wire wrong and the funds were never received by - -. On Monday - -, I went to Wells Fargo to find out what happened and why did - - not receive the money. It was discovered that the banker had used the wrong - number. I was told that the funds would be recalled and sent to the right place and this would happen within 48 hours, 3 days worst case which would have been Thursday - -. I specifically asked what would happen if Wells Fargo could not get the money back. I was told that Wells Fargo would send the money and take it as a loss. On Friday, - - the funds had still not been received, so my husband went back to Wells Fargo. They told him that they would put the money back in our account next week and we would have to resend the wire, completely disregarding what they initially said they would do to correct the problem. I told the company in - that they would have


- would have the funds by Thursday the -. They told me that they escalated, but there was n't anything else they could do. That we would have to wait for them to get the money back and once they have the money back, they would put it back into our account. So I asked again, what happens if Wells Fargo could not get the money back, again I was told that they would take it as a loss. So I asked why they could n't just wire the money as promised, and Wells Fargo do the waiting for the money back? They said they could n't do that. What are my rights? Wells Fargo charged me $45.00 to wire the money and charged us more than the exchange rate for converting to -. How is this even legal?
